My Only Sunshine was founded by graphic designer Brittnee Waters. Britt got her start as a designer at an advertising agency in Kansas City, right after graduating from Avila University.

Her position at the agency helped to make her a very well rounded designer. There she worked on everything from branding and logos to newspaper ads and billboards to online banners and web design. When she wasn't designing, she was helping as a production artist to assist with all projects going out and RFPs. 

After becoming a mom, she decided she wanted to find a way to do exactly what she loved every single day: run her own business, be at home with her littles, and create beautiful things for others. Britt got the courage to start out on her own in 2015, and she hasn’t looked back since.

She’s a green thumb wannabe, mostly only able to keep cacti alive, but she’s trying real hard. She is obsessed with organizing, even though you can't really tell by looking at her house. She gets way too into throwing parties and has never met a pizza she didn't like, yeah its a problem.
